After 30 years of domination, Windows was dethroned by Android

The March statistics published by StatCounter show that Windows wasn’t the most popular system on devices connected to the Internet. The market share of Microsoft’s operating system reached 37,91%. It was 0,02% less than Android’s share.

The new situation is probably caused by the expansion of mobile devices on the market and desktop computers sales decrease. Microsoft has huge problems with the mobile market domination.

The flagship product of the corporation from Redmond has been a leader on personal computers for 30 years.

Windows is still the most popular operating system on desktop computers and nothing suggests that it will change.
